There are many veterans and their spouses that need our help. We need your support and donations to keep our program going.
Serving as a volunteer on a House of Heroes project is fun, easy and best of all rewarding. You don’t have to possess any home repair or construction skills. Our project leaders will teach you everything you need to know.
Founded in January 2000, the House of Heroes is a nonprofit organization serving our nation’s military and public safety veterans and their spouses. Volunteers perform minor repairs and make improvements to the homes of veterans and their spouses—at no cost to the veteran—through the generosity of individuals, civic organizations, and corporations.Learn More
The mission of House of Heroes, Inc. is to recognize and honor military and public safety veterans and/or their spouses who have served our country faithfully and sacrificially. Through service to these veterans and their spouses, House of Heroes, Inc. volunteers attempt to express gratitude that can never be adequately expressed in words alone.Learn More

At first I thought it was a hoax. Then I cried….They're just wonderful. I don't know how to say how grateful we are.
My husband would be honored and grateful to know that someone was doing this to honor him and help me out.
Our house has needed this work for awhile. Having it done for no cost is a blessing.
This group is a great help to people, and they are all just a bunch of volunteers that want to help.
Them coming in here and doing the work I can no longer do, in my eyes, they're the heroes.
I thank God for not only the work, but I thank the people that came with the House of Heroes...the volunteers.
I feel very good. I feel safe. The House of Heroes took a burden off my shoulders.
I think House of Heroes is a benefit to the service people who need their help.
