Our Mission

House of Heroes Chattahoochee Valley was founded in 2008 by Wayne Anthony, the founder, and president of House of Heroes, Inc. Recognizing the pressing need to support the aging veteran community, Wayne envisioned an organization dedicated to honoring service and sacrifice through acts of kindness and restoration. Inspired by the original House of Heroes mission, which was established to provide assistance to military and public safety veterans, or their surviving spouse, Wayne brought the initiative to the Chattahoochee Valley region.

His vision was simple yet profound: to ensure that veterans and surviving spouses could live in safe and well-maintained homes, regardless of physical or financial limitations. The organization started with a small but passionate group of volunteers committed to making a difference one home at a time. Their first projects focused on essential home repairs—fixing leaky roofs, building wheelchair ramps, and improving overall living conditions for those who had once served the nation. What began as a grassroots effort quickly grew into a larger movement, drawing in volunteers, businesses, and community partners eager to support the cause.

Over the years, House of Heroes Chattahoochee Valley has continued to expand its reach, completing hundreds of projects that have touched the lives of countless veterans and their families. Through generous donations, corporate sponsorships, and an ever-growing volunteer base, the organization has become a beacon of hope, ensuring that those who once defended our country receive the care and appreciation they deserve. Today, House of Heroes Chattahoochee Valley remains committed to its founding principles of service, honor, and community.
